INSECT EXPO ©

The National Institute of Entomology is the organising group responsible for the National Insect Expo ©, the largest insect exhibition held each year in Australia. Now entering its fourth year, this event attracts exhibitors from all over the country as well as overseas, to exhibit to the public, exciting and unique displays pertaining to insects, insect research, entomological collections, insect based crafts and artworks.
The National Insect Expo is usually held around the last week of third term school holidays and features Entomologists, Insect Researchers, Breeders, Spider and Scorpion Keepers, Insect Educators and Specialist Insect Retailers.
This amazing event also brings together a large number of static Entomological Collections, 'Live' Insect displays, Spiders, Scorpions and Related Invertebrates, Childrens Workshops, Entomological Merchandise and the ongoing research work of the National Institute of Entomology. Over 100 exhibitors from all over Australia and overseas feature spectacular displays, many of which are never seen elsewhere by the public. Featured Insect Pantomime Entertainment will be there to meet and greet all visitors and Quality Food Catering will also be available On-Site during the entire 3 day event.
