The National Institute of Entomology is a Not for Profit Organisation responsible for the curation and study of its held entomological collections and aims to develop these valuable resourses for the use of Researchers, Taxonomists, Students and Members of the Public.

It is the custodian of the Central Victorian Regional Insect Collection (C.V.R.I.C), Dr Russell George Wilkinson Collection (R.G.W.C) and several other collections including the NIOE Research Reference Library.
